Nine holes worththe drive out.
Meadow Acres has been Larchwood’s golf course for decades. Greens that are genuinely looked after, a fleet of forty carts, a full bar and grill — and green fees that still start at twenty dollars.

Sioux Falls
A course that plays better than its price tag
No tee time needed, no dress code to worry about, and nobody rushing you round. Just turn up.
Kept the way it should be
Watered, mown and rolled by people who live here. The greens hold a shot in July, which is more than you can say for a lot of courses at twice the fee.
Forty carts, no waiting
A fleet of forty gas carts, so there is one free when you want one — even on a league night. Members with cart privileges ride unlimited.
The clubhouse is the point
Full bar, a kitchen doing proper golfing food until nine, and a banquet room with the whole course out of the window. Open at ten, every day.
Nine holes, par 36, and a couple that will bite you
It opens gently and then asks real questions. The third is a short par three guarded front-left by a bunker with out-of-bounds behind it. The seventh is the most demanding tee shot on the property — trees right, water left, no comfortable miss. And the eighth plays straight over a lake from the tee.
Play it twice round and you have eighteen holes that never feel repetitive, because the second nine is a different course in a different wind.
Green fees that have not lost touch
All prices include sales tax. Nine or eighteen, walking or riding — pay at the clubhouse and go.
| Round | Weekday | Weekend |
|---|---|---|
| 9 holes, walking | $20 | $26 |
| 9 holes with cart | $32 | $37 |
| 18 holes, walking | $26 | $36 |
| 18 holes with cart | $44 | $53 |
| All day with cart | $65 | $78 |
Weekend rates apply on holidays. A ten-round book with a cart is $300 and runs to the end of the season. Card payments add a 4% convenience fee.
There is a league for you here
Couples on Monday, women on Tuesday, an open league Wednesday and the men’s league Thursday. Most of them will take a sub even when the sheet is full.
Monday
Couples league — two couples a team, Chapman system, 6:00 pm shotgun start.
Tuesday
Women’s league — tee times 4:30 and 4:40. Turn up and draw for partners.
Wednesday
Open league — anyone can play. Last year’s teams are signed up automatically.
Thursday
Men’s league — three divisions across early, middle and late times.
Weddings, reunions and Thursday night
The banquet room has been remodelled and it looks straight out over the course — which is why it gets booked for wedding receptions, anniversaries, graduations, retirements and business meetings as often as it does for golf.
The rest of the time it is a full service bar and a kitchen turning out burgers, wraps, steaks and pizza. On league nights and some tournaments the kitchen makes something homemade for everybody playing.
You do not need a tee time. You are welcome to call anyway.
Walk-ups play every day of the season. Ring the clubhouse if you are bringing a group, planning an outing, or want the banquet room — that is when it helps to have it in the diary.
